MUSICAL THEATER PLACEMENT/AUDITIONS | 6th - 12th grade ONLY

Musical Theater is an audition and performance-based class designed to introduce our students to the world of Musical Theater. This class encompasses Dance, Drama, and Voice performance disciplines. Students will rotate between these three disciplines according to their age group and learn how to apply and combine them through the rehearsal process and performance opportunities provided through CPAA. All Musical Theater performances require an audition. This experience provides our students to experience the audition process in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. They will learn what it means to be part of an ensemble cast and how to apply the techniques they learn in individual discipline classes to the stage. Please note that to be eligible to be part of the musical theater program, each student must also be registered in a separate discipline class during the week.

CPAA Team Auditions (Advanced Team) AGES 12 +

COMPETITION TEAM AUDITIONS:

Our competition program is designed to help dancers learn discipline and teamwork. This competition team allows our students to show their dedication to dance and build a higher level of leadership, self-confidence, and self-reliance. Being part of a team requires a more serious time commitment, additional expenses, and dedication beyond the typical dance year.
